École secondaire l'Altitude

Progress: Ongoing project

A major new mandate for Unigesco has been awarded by the Centre de services scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys (CSSMB) for the full code-compliance upgrade of École secondaire de l’Altitude, located in Pierrefonds. This $33.3 million project includes:

• full fire protection system upgrades throughout the school;
• the addition of a new electrical service entrance;
• complete asbestos abatement across the facility;
• refurbishment of the boiler rooms;
• as well as various architectural and technical upgrades, including the replacement of mechanical equipment, renovation of spaces, and lighting system upgrades.

A complex project in an occupied environment

The work will be carried out over a three-year period due to the building’s continuous occupancy by students and staff. Construction will therefore be phased to ensure safety and maintain uninterrupted school operations throughout the project.
