Jean-Sébastien is the President, CEO and founder of Groupe Unigesco. A natural leader and a skilled negotiator, he is known for his exceptional strategic instinct and in-depth knowledge of the construction industry.

Jean-Sébastien has more than 25 years of experience as a project manager and estimator. Before founding the company, he worked at Cogir Management as the vice-president of real estate development, construction, and technical services. From 2008 to 2012, he was responsible for all development projects, from site prospecting to commissioning, as well as maintenance for all real estate assets.

Jean-Sébastien’s early engineering career in a large aerospace company undoubtedly contributed to his highly disciplined approach and critical thinking.

With a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from ÉTS, he spent the past 20 years specializing in industrial and construction project management. Often self-taught, he is deeply curious and constantly trying to learn about a wide range of subjects. He also values passing on knowledge through teaching and coaching, to help his collaborators. While the technical side of mountain bikes is fascinating to him, Jean-Sébastien mostly identifies as an avid mountain biker who loves to ride. When he’s not at work, you’ll probably find him on the trails … in both summer and winter!
